Thrifting Makes It Possible

Twelve years ago we found out we were going to be parents. I remember going into a big retail store and looking at the baby outfits. Twenty dollars each! From what I had heard, babies need a lot of them. We were worried. We didn't have a lot of money back then. We thought we were in big trouble.
We decided to check out our very first thrift store. It was a local Salvation Army. Instead of twenty dollars, we got an entire outfit for around five dollars! We were relieved and everything was so nice. Nothing was dirty, ripped or damaged and some of the clothes
still had the original store tags on them.

We now have two kids and we're also homeschoolers so we need to have fun, educational resources around our house.
Thrift stores have been a life saver for us and has made it possible for us to cloth our kids and have fun items for them to use.

When our family out grows something whether it be clothes, toys, books etc... We donate it all right back.
